For 15 years, the Hampton University Proton Cancer Institute has proudly provided compassionate cancer care to the Hampton Roads area and beyond. As we celebrate this milestone, we invite our community to join us in advancing our mission by contributing to our initiatives.
A donation to the form below will help us fulfill one of these initiatives, based on our priorities or the most urgent need, ensuring that 100% of your contribution directly supports our mission.. Together, we can continue making a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by cancer.
Below are some of the ways your contribution can support our efforts:
HUPTI Smiles
100% of the proceeds from this fund go directly to our pediatric gift-giving program. Throughout their treatment, which can last several weeks, our youngest patients receive presents and toys. This program lightens the emotional load for families facing the uncertainty of childhood cancer and, through donations, provides moments of joy and hope. Every smile is a treasure, and these small acts create lasting memories.
PATH
For many patients, cancer treatment brings unexpected financial strain. In partnership with The WITT Group Inc., Hampton Proton offers PATH—an online Support Registry that allows patients to request help from family, friends, and their community. Through this platform, patients can seek assistance with non-clinical needs like transportation, food, housing, gas, and co-pays, ensuring they can focus on healing with dignity and support.
Men’s Health Fair
Support our annual Prostate Cancer and Men’s Health Fair, which provides free early detection screenings, health education, and resources to the men of Hampton Roads. Your contribution helps promote healthier lifestyles, improve access to care, and raise awareness for men’s health issues within our community.
